Meanwhile, Team India’s senior off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin was also been a victim of #ValimaiUpdate campaign during England’s tour of India.
Recalling the hilarious incident during the India vs England match, Ashwin had revealed, “I was standing at the boundary line when I heard someone calling me ‘Thala Ashwin… Ashwin..’ When I responded, the person asked me, ‘What about Valimai update?’ I was totally confused at the question. Then I went back and Googled [what it meant] … I couldn’t stop laughing after that. How could I have made sense of the Valimai update while playing cricket?”
However, the off-spinner has now come with an answer.
Ashwin posted a tweet in which he mentioned “Valimai Updated” following the details of the glimpse of Thala Ajith that is scheduled to be released on September 23.
