Vivica A. Fox lashes out against Kanye West for using her in his Ye24 campaign video

- Adidas had called off it's partnership with musician Kanye West last month
On Thanksgiving Day, Kanye West released a number of (unofficial) campaign videos, marking the latest step in his run for the presidency.
One of Ye’s campaign videos features a list of famous people and media figures who have publicly opposed him recently, including actress Vivica A. Fox.
The actor and “Fox Soul” host criticises West in the video that includes Fox and urges viewers to avoid him. This criticism was in response to his Drink Champs interview, in which he erroneously asserted that fentanyl, not oxygen deprivation, killed George Floyd.

“Yo, Kanye. Eff you. And I mean that with everything inside of me, you got to cancel him. And I know we not trying to be in a cancel culture but we got to hit him in his pockets now. Because he, obviously, doesn’t care about the African-American culture,” Fox says in the videos.
On the same day that Adidas frozen Ye’s bank accounts and later sued the rapper for $275 million, the “Fox Soul” programme was being bugged. Even if he didn’t explain why it was featured in the campaign film or provide any context, Fox still reacted.
“Now dawling if you gonna use a clip featuring me it should be accurate!” the Independence Day star tweeted.

“I was not happy with you [for] saying George Floyd wasn’t murdered, but THANKS 4 watching my @foxsoultv show #CocktailsWithQueens & know 2 Can Play that game,” Fox added.
As Ye returns to politics, he is forming new alliances with divisive figures on the far right like Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopoulis. Following Ye’s most recent trip to Mar-a-Lago, when he invited former President Donald Trump to serve as his running mate in 2024, the campaign video was released.
After the musician made anti-Semitic comments, German sportswear giant Adidas ended its lucrative partnership with him last month.
Adidas later claimed that the breakup with West had led it to halve its projected net profitability for 2022. West has assisted Adidas in creating its popular “Yeezy” line of clothes.
West, who showed up at a Paris fashion show wearing a shirt with the logo “W” last month, has also severed connections with the US clothing company Gap and the Paris fashion house Balanciaga.
