What happened to Tekashi 6ix9ine? Rapper assaulted by a group of men inside South Florida gym
Rapper Daniel Hernandez, better known by the stage name Tekashi 6ix9ine, was assaulted by a group of men inside a South Florida gym, multiple outlets report.
The controversial rapper sustained serious injuries in the incident and had to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. The rapper’s attorney, Lance Lazzaro, told TMZ that his client was inside the sauna on Tuesday when he was suddenly attacked by a group of men without any warning.
He says that 6ix9ine tried to fight them off, but they were too many. They beat him up badly and fled the gym. There is no information on their identities as yet.
The attorney pointed out that at the time of the attack, the rapper did not have his security with him, which made it more convenient for his assailants to get access to him.
