Three suspects – Rafael Medina, Jr., Octavious Medina and Anthony Maldonado – were arrested Thursday for attacking rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine in a sauna at an LA Fitness in South Florida earlier this month, an official told TMZ. They have been booked and processed into county jail.

A Palm Beach Sheriff Office representative told TMZ that Rafael Medina, Jr., Octavious Medina and Anthony Maldonado have been arrested or assaulting and robbing 6ix9ine. Earlier this month a viral cellphone video showed three men standing over the New York rapper, who was on the floor of the gym. One of them kicked him and another one hit the artist, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is known for his rainbow-colored hair and “69” tattoo on his forehead. He faced decades in prison as part of a racketeering case. He was accused of using a violent gang as a “personal hit squad.”

However, his sentence was reduced to about two years after his testimony against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

The rapper was labelled as a ‘snitch’. Daniel Hernandez did not amp up his security even after the gym attack. Sources close to him told TMZ that he has ‘been going out in public without his hired muscle pretty regularly over the last year — without issue’.
