Lima Jevremovic, founder and CEO of wellness supplements and health-care software company AURA, was made Bam Margera’s guardian in June 2021. The television personality’s family made the announcement to shut down the rumours that he was in a Brittany Spears-kind conservatorship. ‘Free Bam’ was trending on social media.
“It’s no secret that Bam has struggled with mental health and addiction. You’ve watched Bam grow up and supported him through his ups and downs. Our family has let you into the chaos that is our home, and we want nothing more than to continue this journey together,” the family said in a social media post.
“Despite rumours, Bam has never been in a conservatorship but rather a temporary healthcare guardianship for reasons not shared with the public. If Bam chooses to speak to this, he will when he is ready. The ‘Free Bam’ theorists have encouraged his exit from treatment, despite their lacking knowledge of the details, his health, and well-being,” the added, thanking Jevremovic for her help.
Entertainment website TMZ on Friday reported that Margera has been hospitalised with pneumonia. He is also infected with COVID-19. However, is currently stable, the report said, citing sources.
