Timothée Chalamet‘s older sister Pauline Chalamet is best known for playing the role of Kimberly in the hit HBO Max show ‘The Sex Lives of College Girls’.  Read on to know more about the 31-year-old actress –

Born on January 25, 1992, in New York City, New York, Pauline Chalamet appeared in the show One Life to Live at the age of seven. Three years later, she danced in a Broadway adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

She initially had aspirations of becoming a ballerina. She attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. and went on to receive a  bachelor’s degree in theater and political studies from Bard College.

In 2020, she appeared in Judd Apatow’s The King of Staten Island, starring Pete Davidson. She then went on to play Kimberly in the HBO Max series Sex Lives of College Girls. The first season of the show debuted on November 18, 2021, while the second season premiered on November 17, 2022.

Pauline’s father, Marc Chalamet, is originally French. She now lives in Paris permanently and has dual citizenship in both the US and France. Pauline grew up speaking French and acted in several French short films, including Agnès et Milane.

Pauline’s father is an editor for the United Nations, while her mother, Nicole Flender, was a Broadway dancer.

The 31-year-old is also a producer and a director.

In an interview with L’OFFICIEL in 2021, she revealed that she loves being in front of the camera and behind it.

“I love both and I admire both. When I am behind the camera, whether as a director or a producer and I see the work that the actors do, I always have a little voice in me that says to me: The work of an actor is just extraordinary. comedians, they are sick—why show themselves so vulnerable? Why put themselves in all these states? Why, just to tell a story, just to tell this story?” she told the outlet.
