Why Al Pacino never got married

Discussing his perspective on marriage, Pacino expressed his distaste for the institution being treated solely as a legal contract.

In an interview with The Independent, Pacino shared his thoughts, saying, “I hate to say this, but marriage is a state of mind, not a contract. When I think about the law and marriage, I ask myself, when did the cops get involved?” He further revealed that he wished he had gotten married in the past, acknowledging the height of a relationship as being in love.

One of his friends shed light on Pacino’s stance, mentioning that his father’s departure from the family at a young age influenced his views on marriage. Pacino, not wanting to enter into a bad marriage, is aware of his own complexities, making him cautious about committing to such a commitment.

He also had a two-year romance with Meital Dohan and is currently in a relationship with Noor Alfallah, who is expecting their child.

Despite his success in the film industry and numerous love interests, Al Pacino has chosen not to pursue marriage. His perspective on the institution and his desire to avoid a potentially unhappy union have influenced his decision.
