Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested from their Romania home on Thursday, according to reports.
The police raided their home and arrested the Tate brothers over human trafficking charges.
Reports say that they will remain in custody for now. The details of the arrest are yet to be made public.
Tate was recently engulfed in a controversy with climate activist Greta Thunberg which caught the headlines.
Pop Base says that Tate’s arrest came after he posted a video in response to Greta Thunberg, which allowed the police to confirm that he was in Romania.
In the video, Tate can be seen with a pizza box of a Romanian chain and that tipped off the police, as per the report.

The anti-feminist had taunted Thunberg with the following tweet.
“Hello @GretaThunberg I have 33 cars. My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad-turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start. Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions,” Tate wrote on Twitter tagging Thunberg.
Thunberg replied to the tweet saying: “yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalldickenergy@getalife.com.”
After Thunberg’s reply, Tate posted the video below which led to his arrest on December 29.

Tate wrote: “Thank you for confirming via your email address that you have a small penis @GretaThunberg The world was curious. And I do agree you should get a life.”
