The woman known as Cecilia-Joy Adamou from Surrey
has had to suffer from several medical problems ever since she was born. She
has had to undergo a heart transplant and a kidney transplant as a result of
suffering from cancer and was born with Atrioventricular Septal Defect with
Left Atrial Isomerism.

Cecilia had to undergo two massive
surgeries by the time she was two years of age and had to undergo a heart
transplant in 2010. Her donor was a 45-year-old man.
That was not the end of her problems as
four years later two tumours were identified in her brain and she was forced to
go undergo surgery. Thanks to early detection the tumours were unable to spread
and Cecilia survived.
