US President Donald Trump asked his supporters to continue protesting peacefully as the angry mob breached security barricades on the steps of the Capitol Hill building. The pro-Trump have decided to stop the certification of Joe Biden’s election victory inside the legislature, as the Congress session continued.

Asking his supporters to not breach the Capitol’s security cordon, Trump– almost after an hour of the protests– tweeted,”Please support our Capitol Police and Law Enforcement.”

“They are truly on the side of our Country,” the Republican leader added.

Only earlier in the day, Donald Trump in a rally had urged people to protest against the declaration of Democratic candidate Joe Biden’s victory in the Elections conducted on November 3. The 306-to-232 Electoral College votes won by President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris were held in confirmation over repeated claims of election fraud.

The House of Representatives and Senate went into recess as protesters disrupted a session. Police ordered the evacuation of sever al office buildings for the US Congress Wednesday as supporters of President Donald Trump broke down security barrricades on the steps of the Capitol.
