India reports 15,223 new COVID-19 cases; 151 deaths in last 24 hours

India’s total COVID-19 tally reached 10,610,883 on Thursday with 15,223 new infections recorded in the last 24 hours, data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed.

The death toll from the virus has climbed up to 152,869 after 151 people died from the novel coronavirus infection on the previous day.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are currently 192,308 active COVID-19 cases in India. In the last 24 hours, 19,965 people recovered from COVID-19 infections, taking the tally of recovered COVID-19 cases in India to 10,265,706.
