Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar tests positive for COVID-19
- The deputy CM tweeted, "I tested positive for coronavirus and I am in good health"
- This comes days after former CM Devendra Fadnavis tested COVID-19 positive
- Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state by COVID-19 in the country

Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar tested positive for COVID-19 and is admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, reported ANI quoting Office of Deputy CM.
The deputy CM tweeted, “I tested positive for coronavirus and I am in good health. As a precautionary measure, I have been admitted to the hospital.”
This comes days after former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis tested COVID-19 positive.
Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state by COVID-19 in the country. While 14,60,755 patients have recovered from the disease in the state, 43,264 have died so far.
