12 dead, 5 missing in fire at a chemical firm in Maharashtra’s Pune

At least 12 people died in a massive fire incident at a chemical company in Pune’s Ghotawade Phata on Monday and five are still missing, reports ANI.
According to the fire department, out of 37 on-duty employees, 20 have been rescued from the location.
The chemical firm is into manufacturing, supply and export of air, water and surface treatment chemicals, said Devendra Potphode, chief fire officer, PMRDA Fire Services.
The fire is under control, and the search for missing people is underway, the fire department said.
