Actor Ranbir Kapoor tests positive for COVID-19, says mother Neetu Kapoor

Actor Ranbir Kapoor tested positive for COVID-19, his mother Neetu Kapoor posted on Instagram.
She wrote, “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions.”
Earlier, his uncle Randhir Kapoor had said that Ranbir was not well but he was not sure whether he contracted the virus or not.

“I believe he is not well, but I am not sure what he has got. I am not in town,” Randhir Kapoor told Pinkvilla.
Last year, Ranbir’s mother, actor Neetu Singh also contracted COVID-19 and had to return from the shooting of ‘Jug Jug Jeeyo’. In December, Neetu’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni took to Instagram to share an update on the actor’s health by saying, “Thank you for all your good wishes & prayers – My mother has tested Covid negative today @neetu54.”
Ranbir, 34, is currently working on films including ‘Brahmastra’ with girlfriend Alia Bhatt and a Luv Ranjan project co-starring Shraddha Kapoor.
