The Bajpatti Assembly constituency has been bagged by Rashtriya Janata Dal. The Election Commission declared that Mukesh Kumar Yadav of the Rashtriya Janata Dal had won by a margin of 2704 votes. In the 2015 Bihar Assembly elections, Dr Ranju Geeta of JD-U won in this seat by defeating Rekha Kumari of BLSP by 16,946 votes. In the 2020 Bihar state Assembly elections, the voter turnout here was 55.72%. In 2015, this seat registered a turnout of 54.64% while it was 47.81% in 2010.
