Congress represents Bankura constituency in West Bengal assembly

The Bankura assembly constituency is
currently held by Congress MLA Daripa Shampa, who defeated Minati Misra of TMC
in 2016. The seat, one of West Bengal’s 294 assembly constituencies, falls
under Bankura Lok Sabha constituency.

As per orders of the Delimitation
Commission, Bankura municipality, Bankura I community development block,
and Junbedia, Mankanali and Purandarpur gram panchayats of Bankura II community development block
fall under Bankura.
