As torrential rains hit Patna due to Cyclone Yaas, medicines were seen floating after rainwater flooded the premises of Jai Prabha Hospital in Bihar’s Patna, according to a video released by ANI.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday that Cyclone Yaas has diminished into a ‘well-marked low-pressure’ system over Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

“Depression (remnant of very severe cyclonic storm “YAAS”) over Bihar and adjoining Jharkhand has weakened into a well-marked low pressure area lay over Bihar adjoining East UP at 0530 hrs today,” the IMD tweeted.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bhubaneshwar for a review meeting and conducted an aerial survey of the devastated districts of Odisha’s Balasore, Bhadrak, and Purba Medinipur in West Bengal.
