Dev Patel leads an epic quest in The Green Knight trailer

New trailer of ‘The Green Knight’, which was supposed to release in 2020, was released on Tuesday. The movie, which is now set to release in July 2021, is David Lowery’s adaptation of 14th-century Middle English chivalric romance, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight.
The new trailer stars Dev Patel as Gawain, King Arthur’s reckless nephew, a beautiful, bearded, moody knight, who is beseeched to go on an epic quest in uniformly overcast weather to defeat the eponymous green-skinned stranger. Gawain takes on strange creatures, robbers, and ghosts, which results in a intense journey to define his character and prove his worth in the eyes of his family and Kingdom.
The movie symbolises a reunion between Lowery and A24. The supporting cast of the Green Knight also features Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sarita Choudhury, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Barry Keoghan, and Ralph Ineson, who also play a major role in the movie.
