Fire breaks out in Shatabdi Express’ generator car at Ghaziabad railway station

A fire broke out at the generator car of Shatabdi Express at the Ghaziabad railway station in Uttar Pradesh. The generator car caught fire at 7 am after which it was immediately separated from the train, ANI UP reported, quoting Chief Fire Officer Sushil Kumar.
Four fire tenders doused the fire after breaking the window and no casualty was reported, Kumar said.
The cause of the fire is unknown and the probe is underway.
The Lucknow-bound train departed for its destination at 8.20 am, PTI reported.
