A former Mercedes Benz employee was arrested in Spain on Thursday after he went on a $6 million wrecking spree with a robbed JCB at a factory where he used to work, according to Daily Mail.

The 38-year-old allegedly destroyed about 50 brand new vans, the move which is estimated to have caused around $6 million worth of damage.

The former employee stole a JCB on December 31, which he drove to the factory located on an industrial estate in the Basque capital Vitoria. He then went on a wrecking spree, damaging several luxury vehicles, including Mercedes Benz V-Class and eVitos, on his way.

According to the local reports, a security guard had to fire a warning shot to stop the man crazily thrashing the cars as a work-revenge attack.

Police investigating the incident said that the driver worked at the Mercedes Benz site between 2016 and 2017.
