Sonu Sood, a Bollywood actor, has established himself as a real-life hero for his numerous initiatives to assist people from all walks of life during a time when the majority were suffering as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Sonu Sood is well known for having one of Bollywood’s sexiest bodies. His manly presence has effectively shined in tough-villain parts. But few people know Sood pursued an engineering career before becoming an actor.
Early Life
Sonu Sood was born in Moga, Punjab, where his parents, Saroj and Shakti Sagar Sood, both worked as professors. While he completed his engineering degree in Nagpur, his older sister Monika was a scientist. Sonu Sood wed his wife Sonali Sood in 1996 when he was just 23 years old, long before he rose to fame as an actor. The couple has two kids – Eshaan and Ayaan.

Sonu Sood’s Bollywood Journey
Sonu Sood finally found success with the Telugu film Kallajagaar, three years after arriving in Mumbai. Three years after that, he received Shaheed-e-Azam, his first Bollywood film. But Yuva, a 2004 film, gave him his big break and since Dabangg, a 2010 film, the actor hasn’t looked back, solidifying his reputation as one of the greatest contemporary villains in Indian cinema.
Future and current movies starring Sonu Sood
Sonu Sood, who is celebrating his birthday Saturday, was last seen in Samrat Prithviraj, a film that did poorly at the box office and received generally negative reviews. The actor will next be seen on the big screen, in a Tamil movie – Thamilarasan, with Vijay Antony.
Sonu Sood – A Good Samaritan
Ever since the pandemic began, Sonu Sood has been actively involved in all types of relief efforts. He has aided thousands of people and been at the forefront of the conflict. Even among the affluent and privileged, not many were prepared to commit themselves to the cause and make a difference as he did, making his well-intentioned endeavour all the more noteworthy. He has received several awards for his altruistic efforts throughout these trying times. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) selected Sood for the “SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award” in September 2020 in recognition of his humanitarian efforts during the COVID-19 epidemic. Together with Meena Iyer, Sonu co-wrote a biography titledI Am No Messiah in December 2020. It describes his experiences assisting thousands of individuals who were stuck during the Covid-19-induced nationwide lockdown in getting home.
