A facial burn survivor, Shree was diagnosed with a rare heart disease at the age of 12 and had a pacemaker installed. But she did not give up.
“I choose not to let my circumstances define my responses. My life’s mission is to encourage people to have empathy, follow their passions and be of service. I use my life story to inspire others to choose resilience and kindness,” she says.
Shree trained in 12 different dance styles and is associated with the prestigious Ballet Academy and Dance FX Studio. She has earned over 50 awards, at dance competitions, and moved to the highest level of dance offered in Columbia Basin, Ballet Level 7.
As the current Miss World America, Shree is preparing for the Miss World preliminaries and finds time for social work with organizations such as CRY, UNICEF and her own Shree Saini Foundation, a non-profit organization.
She uses her social initiatives and online outreach to increase awareness about heart ailments and emotional health among children and young adults.
