India vs Zimbabwe: Deepak Hooda scripts unique record with win in 1st ODI
- Deepak Hooda has now won all of his 15 matches for India since making his debut earlier this year
- He equalled the record of Romania's Satvik Nadigotla, who has also won 15 matches
- Hooda is also the only Indian player in the top five players of the list
Indian all-rounder Deepak Hooda has been a revelation since he made his debut for the country on February 6 earlier this year. His consistent performance helped him to be picked in the Indian squad for the ongoing three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe and the Asia Cup 2022. However, Deepak Hooda has now made headlines once again as he became the first cricketer to win 15 matches since his national team debut.
Since making his India debut against West Indies in Ahmedabad, Hooda has gone on to represent the country in 15 matches. Coincidentally, India has won all these 15 matches, making them undefeated whenever the all-rounder was part of the team in a match.

With the victory over Zimbabwe in the first ODI match on August 18 in Harare, Deepak Hooda has now won 15 matches (nine T20Is and six ODIs) since his debut. He equalled Romanian cricketer Satvik Nadigotla’s record of winning 15 matches and will look to leapfrog him in the upcoming games.
Hooda is also the only Indian player in the top five of the list, which also has the likes of David Miller (13) of South Africa, Shantanu Vashisht (13) of Romania and Collis King (12) of West Indies. The Indian all-rounder is also likely to feature for the Indian cricket team in all of their matches against West Indies, which will allow him to overtake Satvik Nadigotla in the second match itself, if India continues its winning run on Saturday, August 20.

Deepak Hooda has scored 115 runs in six ODI matches, claiming two wickets in the process. He has also made 274 runs in the T20I matches, but has yet to take his first wicket till now.
