After the defeat, defending champions Mumbai Indians are now at the seventh position with five wins and seven losses. Furthermore, it is high time for the team to get their act together quickly if they plan on securing their chance at qualifying for the playoffs.
Rajasthan Royals (RR), Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and MI have logged in with five wins each in their 12 games so far and the last playoff spot could potentially be taken by any one of these.
Mumbai Indians will now face Rajasthan Royals on Tuesday in Sharjah.
