Three days after a vehicle with explosives was found near the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani, an organisation named Jaish-ul-Hind has claimed responsibility, reports PTI. A senior police official told PTI that they were investigating all possible angles in this connection.

The outfit claimed the responsibility by posting a message on social messaging app Telegram, which went viral on social media and came to the notice of Mumbai police, the official said.

On Thursday evening, a Scorpio with 2.5 kg gelatin sticks had been found parked near Mukesh Ambani’s residence in Mumbai. Ambani multi-storey residence ‘Antila’ is located on Carmichael Road. A letter found inside the SUV purportedly threatened Ambani and his family. This was only a ‘Jhalak’ (glimpse) but the next time the ‘saaman’ (explosives) will be fully assembled, the letter said.
