MI captain Rohit Sharma surprises fan on KBC 13

Indian cricketer Rohit Sharma surprised of his ardent fans by appearing on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 13’ hosted by Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

During the episode, Pranshu Tripathi from Umariya, Madhya Pradesh, narrated his love Rohit Sharma. He told the host that he even carries the photo of his idol in his wallet.

Amitabh Bachchan then asked him to choose between his girlfriend and Rohit Sharma. Pranshu replied, “Now that’s an even more difficult question than the one for Rs 7 crore, and you haven’t even given me a lifeline!”

Seeing Pranshu’s love and admiration for the cricketer, the host arranged a video call with the Mumbai Indians skipper. This leaves Pranshu emotional, who says that he does not know how to speak to his ‘God’. 

His gesture left Rohit overwhelmed, who gifted him his Mumbai Indian gloves and wished him luck for his future. 

This gesture by Rohit has impressed his fans. 

“This is just So beautiful. A fan meet his Idol and favourite Rohit Sharma and Rohit meet his fan through a video call on KBC. – So Nice to see this,” one of his fans wrote on Twitter. 

“Will register for KBC in next season. Not to win crores but to meet Rohit Sharma,” wrote another fans.

Pranshu works as a maths teacher in a government school in Umariya and the students of 9th and 10th grade. As a child, he aspired to become a cricketer. His father, however, urged him to pursue the game as a hobby and instead focus on studies. Apart from teaching, he is also preparing for competitive exams and wants to secure a government job just like his father. Pranshu took him Rs 50 lakh. 

Himani Bundela, a teacher from Agra, was the first crorepati of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13.
