Mamata dials Governor from Nandigram, alleges ruckus in polls | Watch

Alleging ruckus in polls on Thursday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee spoke to Governor Jagdeep Dhankar. She said that goons from other states are creating ruckus in Nandigram, and added, “They did not allow the local people to cast their vote.”

“From morning I am campaigning and I am not getting any result. Now I am appealing to you, please see,” she said, quoted news agency ANI. 

CM Banerjee, who is up against Suvendu Adhikari of BJP from Nandigram, said, “We will move court as Election Commission is not taking action,” quoted news agency PTI.

Nandigram went to polls in the phase 2 of assembly elections on Thursday. Slogans were raised against the West Bengal CM when she arrived at a polling booth in Nandigram, reports ANI. 

Reacting to this, Mamata said that people, who are raising slogans against her, are outsiders. “They came from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and are being protected by the Central Forces,” quoted ANI.
