Noida twin towers demolition: Realtor Supertech releases statement
- Supertech Realtors released a statement regarding the demolition of the Noida twin towers

Supertech Realtors, the firm that had constructed the Noida twin towers, released a statement before the latter were demolished in accordance with a Supreme Court order. In the statement, the realty firm said that all regulatory measures were ticked while building the towers and that their demolition will not affect the company’s any other ongoing.
The twin towers, namely, Apex and Ceyane, which were a part of the Emerald Court project in Noida, were destroyed at 2:30 PM on Sunday using explosives weighing around 3,700 kg because their construction was regarded by the Supreme Court as having violated norms. According to Supertech Realtors’ statement, “The building plans of the Project including the two towers were approved by the Noida Authority in 2009 which was strictly in accordance with the then prevailing Building Bye laws announced by the State Government”.

The statement further added that the construction was carried out according to the building plan that was initially submitted and that there was no deviation made from the same during the construction. The demolition work was assigned to a company called Edifice Engineering, which the statement describes as “world-renowned”.
Around 70,000 homes have been delivered to their customers, the company said in the statement, also adding that more customers will be handed over their homes within the scheduled time frame. The statement also said, ” We assure all our home buyers that the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court will not affect any other ongoing project and all other projects will continue and we are committed to complete construction and deliver the flats to the allottees as per the schedule time.”

The demolition of the twin towers was the largest demotion project carried out in India’s history and took about nine seconds to complete. Reports suggest that people evacuated from the neighbouring societies will be allowed to move back after 6:30 PM on Sunday.
