Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to celebrate his 72nd birthday on Saturday, September 17. While he has been on a busy schedule in the last few days, the same will continue on Saturday as well, when his supporters throughout the country and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are set to celebrate the Prime Minister’s special day with unique tributes.

Since PM Modi came to power in 2014, his birthdays have been celebrated with unique programmes. The trend will continue in 2022 as well when he will release eight Namibian cheetahs in the Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh. Let’s take a look at the full schedule of the Indian Prime Minister on his special day.

Less than a day after his attendance at the SCO summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, where he held meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Modi will be visiting the Kuno National Park on the morning of Saturday, September 17, to release eight cheetahs, brought from Namibia with the help of the University of Pretoria as a part of Project Cheetah.

The next agenda of the day for the PM will see him participating in a self-help group sammelan in Karahal in the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh. The event is a part of the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Rural Livelihoods Mission, which aims to muster rural low-income households in self-help groups and provide them with future support.

Following the event in Sheopur, the Prime Minister will be addressing ITI students on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti on the same day. The program will see the participation of 40 lakhs students across the country.

The Prime Minister will be launching the National Logistics Policy (NLP) on Saturday evening, followed by an address at the event. The NLP will be used to decrease logistics expenses to eight per cent of the current GDP.

Previous birthdays of the Prime Minister have seen him launching many developmental projects in different parts of India. Modi has also visited his home state of Gujarat on his birthday to seek blessings from his mother, Heeraben Modi.
