Makhdumpur (SC) is a legislative assembly constituency in the Jehanabad District of Bihar and it belongs to the Jehanabad Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency. Subedar Das of RJD is the sitting MLA of the seat, who defeated Jitan Ram Manjhi of HAMS. 

Manjhi has served as the 23rd Chief Minister of Bihar from May 20, 2014 to February 20, 2015 from this constituency as a JD(U) candidate. Das had defeated Manjhi by a margin of  26,777 votes.
