PAT DIYE CHAKKE: SRK wants to dance after Cummins’ blitzkrieg vs MI

Kolkata Knight Riders’ co-owner Shah Rukh Khan, after witnessing Pat Cummins’ 14-ball 50 against the Mumbai Indians, said that he wants to dance and hug the Aussie. KKR defeated the five-time IPL champions by five wickets and now lead the table with six points.
Cummins took on the Mumbai Indians’ bowling attack single-handedly and chased the 162-run target with 24 balls to spare. The Aussie finished with 56 runs off 15 deliveries. He hit four boundaries and six maximums during his stay at the crease.

As soon as the Australian Test captain hit the winning runs, a six over the sightscreen off Daniel Sams, Kolkata players rushed to ground to celebrate. Star all-rounder Andre Russell danced around as the players hugged Cummins.
Watching the post-match celebrations, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted that he also wants to dance and hug Cummins.

“I want to dance like Andre & hug u like the whole team did. Wow well done @KKRiders and what else is there to say!!!…’PAT’ DIYE CHAKKE!!!,” SRK tweeted.
Cummins after being named the player of the match said that he was the most surprised with his innings against Mumbai.
“I probably think I’m most surprised by that innings. I’m glad that it came off. I was thinking of having a swing if it was in my area. Wasn’t trying to overthink it,” Cummins said at the post-match press presentation ceremony.

Talking about Cummins’ display after the loss, MI captain Rohit Sharma said that he never expected the Aussie to play like that.
“We had the game till the 15th over, but then Cummins was brilliant,” Sharma said.
Cummins’ teammate Venkatesh Iyer, who also scored a fifty, said that the pitch looked tricky for everyone but the pacer.
