Amid a massive nationwide surge in COVID-19 cases, Haryana on Thursday announced strict restrictions to rein in the virus outbreak. The restrictions were announced by the state’s Home and Health Minister Anil Vij.

Taking to Twitter, Vij announced that shops will remain closed after 6 pm from tomorrow that is Friday, 23 April 2021.

He also mentioned that all non-essential social gatherings will be banned. Anybody holding functions within prescribed limits needs to seek permission from the Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM).
