The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Friday arrested drug peddler Kaizan Ibrahim, in connection with Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, news agency ANI reported.

Earlier on Friday, the agency had detained Samuel Miranda, former house manager of Rajput, under provisions of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. The detention had been made following the NCB’s simultaneous search operations conducted at actor Rhea Chakraborty and Miranda’s houses.

The anti-narcotics bureau is currently questioning Miranda and Rhea Chakraborty’s brother, Showik. It has already arrested two persons in connection with the drug trafficking probe linked to the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

Rhea Chakraborty is one of the prime accused of abetting Sushant’s suicide, in an FIR which had been filed by his father KK Singh in July. The case has been transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) following an order from the Supreme Court.

The 28-year-old is also being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on money laundering charges and the NCB for her purported links with the drug peddlers, that have been arrested.

Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, at the age of 34 in his Bandra residence. While initial reports by the Mumbai Police said that the death was caused due to suicide, the CBI is investigating the case at present.
