US President Joe Biden has
taken the reins of the country and is hoping to steer it away from a troubled
economy and health crisis. Less than a month after taking office, Biden will be
taking part in a CNN Town Hall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin addressing the concerns
of American citizens related to the coronavirus pandemic. The Presidential Town
Hall will air from the Pabst Theater on February 16 at 9 pm ET.

The event, moderated by CNN
anchor Anderson Cooper, will be Biden’s first official trip since he took
charge as the 46th President of the United States.

The event will be
held as per Wisconsin’s guidance and regulations to ensure the safety of those
present. The audience will be seated as per social distancing norms and guests
will be called on an invitation basis.

The President is
expected to address questions on the strategy to tackle COVID-19 and how
normalcy will be restored. This comes in light of Biden pushing for a quick
approval of his $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill.

The CNN Town Hall
will offer Biden an opportunity to inform the general public about the work his
administration has done to increase COVID-19 vaccinations and gain support
behind his American Rescue Plan, which he hopes will be passed by the Congress.

Wisconsin, a swing
state, was a wise choice for making his official trip, where Biden ran campaigns
thrice before emerging victorious. Biden won the state by 20,608 votes.
