US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen ‘enjoying’ cooking Indian cuisine amid pandemic

United States Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and her family of economists have been spending a lot of time in the kitchen during the pandemic to try new recipes and are currently obsessed with Indian food.
“We’ve taken up a lot of cooking, because we haven’t been eating out very much,” AFP quoted Yellen, who is known to frequent restaurants with friends, saying in an interview with CNBC on Thursday.
“My family’s been experimenting with lots of new kinds of cooking, especially Indian which we’ve been enjoying,” she added.

The 74-year-old did not specify what recipes she has been trying out with her Nobel laureate husband George Akerlof and son, who is an economics professor.
