Khela Hobe: Mamata Banerjee backs Akhilesh, says TMC will fight Lok Sabha polls
- The Trinamool Congress (TMC), will fight the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Uttar Pradesh
- Mamata Banerjee also urged all regional parties to unite to fight against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 elections
- The West Bengal CM is told that seven to eight BJP leaders want to join the TMC
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said that her party, the Trinamool Congress (TMC), will fight the 2024 Lok Sabha elections from Uttar Pradesh.
“[We] will fight elections from UP [Uttar Pradesh] in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections,” said Mamata Banerjee.

Mamata Banerjee also urged all regional parties to unite to fight against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 2024 elections. “I want all regional parties to unite, fight and defeat the BJP in 2024,” she said.
The West Bengal Chief Minister further stated that she had been told seven to eight BJP leaders want to join the TMC.

Referring to the Union Budget 2022 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Tuesday, Mamata Banerjee said the budget proposed nothing for labourers, farmers and commoners.
Earlier, Mamata Banerjee said she had blocked Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar’s Twitter account and also accused him of “tapping phones” and “threatening” the chief secretary and DGP.

Meanwhile, Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar lashed out at the state bureaucrats, saying they don’t follow the law.
