Vijay Hazare Trophy: Robin Uthappa’s quickfire 87 guides Kerala to easy win against Bihar

In a one-sided match, Kerala defeated Bihar by nine wickets in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. Other than Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu also registered massive wins. In the match against Bihar, Sreesanth took four wickets for the team, and played like a one man army. The Kerala pacer took all the four wickets in no time, who recently staged his comeback to cricket.
Bihar gave a target of 149 after playing 40.2 overs, which the winning team scored in just 8.5 overs. Kerala lost only one player in its 8.5 over innings against Bihar, in which opener Vishnu Vinod made 37 runs in 12 balls, giving the team a good start.

After which, Robin Uthappa made a massive score of 87 in just 32 balls and stayed not out. Batsman Sanju Samson also scored 24 runs in mere nine balls, giving the team an easy win in the round 5 match.
Currently, the league stage is being played in bio-secure bubbles at different venues across the country. The teams have been divided into five Elite groups and one Plate group.
As per the BCCI website, the knockout matches will start on March 7, with the eliminator being played on that day, while quarter finals will be played on March 8 and 9. The two semis will be played on March 11 and final will be on March 14.
