A Hyderabad locality was left worried after several cries of a mother dog echoed through the area. The mother dog was attempting to save her puppies. Enter a group of animal activists in the city and the little puppies were saved just in time and reunited with their mother. The video of the rescue has been trending on the web with viewers being all praises for the rescuers.
Members of the Animal Warriors Conservation Society (AWCS) were called in to help rescue the puppies that had fallen through a manhole and were trapped inside a high drain. This came as soon as the residents identified a mother dog hovering around the drain, trying to enter it. They immediately tried to call in for help.

Upon their arrival, AWCS’ saw it was almost impossible to pull out the puppies through the small opening. “So we hired a concrete-breaking machine and made a hole in the road,” the group wrote while sharing the video.
In the video, a man can be seen climbing down with a torch in his hands. The puppies had been trapped for over 10 hours. They were pulled out one by one and reunited with their mother.
“They drank milk from mother after a long time!” the group added. Grateful for their help, the group added that the mother later came to thank them for rescuing her babies.
“Thanks to Narayanamma Engineering Colleges students and staff who helped us to save these pups,” the group said.
The group announced that the puppies were up for adoption. Hoping the little dogs would get their eternal home soon, social media users lauded the efforts of the group in rescuing the pooches.
