A cloudburst near Dharamshala unleashed a flash flood in the Bhagsu Nag region, sweeping away cars and inflicting property damage. A video published by news agency ANI reveals horrific sights of a massive amount of water pouring swiftly over parked automobiles, filmed from a building’s balcony. An SUV is seen being swept away by the water a few seconds into the video, but it is stopped by other vehicles that had been bundled together by flash floods.
Screams could be heard from those filming these videos as they saw a large SUV being swept away. Some expressed amazement at the tremendous volume of water flowing from the opposite side once the automobile was stopped by other vehicles. Another said, “Now, no car will go beyond this.”

Locals and officials, including SHO Mcleodganj Vipin Chaudhary, have posted many clips on social media.
Kangra district, 58 kilometres from Dharamshala, has been flooded, causing chaos. The swiftness with which the water flowed converted a stream in Bhagsu Nag, a popular tourist destination, into nothing less than a river in no time. Some of the area’s hotels have suffered significant damage. People have been terrified by the cloudburst and flash floods, which have also produced chaos and uncertainty.
Chief Minister Jairam Thakur has requested a report on the losses and has ordered authorities to assist the affected districts in whatever way they can.

After days of scorching heat, numerous other areas in Himachal Pradesh have also seen significant rain. The Monday deluge provided some relief, but it also caused a lot of damage.
At a time when people from all over the nation are flocking to Dharamshala, heavy rain has battered the hill station and surrounding regions.
The cloudburst caused flash floods that obstructed the highway at Jhakri, caused the Manjhi river near Dharamshala to overflow, and destroyed automobiles, stores, and houses in Dharamshala.
