A man was kidnapped by a group of unknown individuals, who shoved him into a car in broad daylight in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur on Wednesday, ANI reported.

Video footage of the incident, caught on nearby CCTV cameras, shows four people getting out of a car and harassing the man, dragging him back to the car and driving away.
The kidnapped person has been identified based on the CCTV footage, police say.
“Based on video shared on social media we investigated matter and have identified kidnapped person. Preliminary probe revealed the kidnappers were known to the victim and there was an unresolved monetary matter between them,” ANI quoted a police official as saying.
“We registered a case and a police team has been dispatched to arrest the accused,” he added.
