It’s
certainly ‘Pawri’ time for Pakistani Cricket team after they lifted the T20i
trophy defeating South Africa in the three-match
T20I series on Sunday at Gaddafi Stadium and Pakistani pacer Hasan Ali
made sure that the world sees their victory celebration. How you ask? Well, Ali
joined the ‘Pawri ho rahi hai’ bandwagon with his squad and came up with a
hilarious video of their after party from the stadium.

Before we say anything, watch this.

In a video shared by Pakistan Cricket official Twitter handle, Ali can be seen imitating the girl from the now viral ‘Pawri ho rahi hai’ video. 

“Ye main hoon, ye meri team hai, aur hum series jeet gaye hain aur hum pawri kar rahe hain (This is me, This is my team, we have won the series, and we are partying),” the Pakistani pacer said in the video.

For those who don’t know, the trend began and went viral after Indian content creator Yashraj Mukhate’s recreation of a Pakistani influencer Dananeer Mobeen’s funny video in which she says “Pawri ho rahi hai”.

Since then the la la land of internet is flooded with hilarious memes, videos and self created rendition of recently gone viral ‘Pawri ho rahi hai’ video and believe or not the trend has become our guilty pleasure already and so is Pakistan’s cricketers’.

However,
on the game front, Pakistan won the match by four wickets with Hasan Ali hitting
two sixes in the penultimate over to facilitate Pakistan’s victory over South Africa.
