A video of a tiger jumping out of its enclosure after tourists attempt to get too close to the animal during a jungle safari has gone viral on social media, causing outrage.
The video, shared by Indian Forest Service officer Susanta Nanda on Twitter, showed the tourists stopping by the animal’s enclosure to take photos of it. Seconds later, the tiger, that was sitting behind a low wall, jumps out of the enclosure and starts walking away, leaving the tourists horrified.
“Idiotitis…When human brain shuts down & mouth keeps talking.Appreciate the anger management of the tiger. But that can’t be guaranteed in future,” the officer captioned the video, that has garnered over 12,000 views.
After the video went viral, Twitter users flooded the comments section, condemning the tourists for their behaviour.
“Seriously! Nature is teaching us and still we will be educated fools,” one person commented.
“Tiger is the only big cat that doesnt kill to eat, but, kills simply because it doesn’t like others near him. Some superior power and luck saved these people, and that’s rare,” another person wrote.
The location of the incident was not known.
