Mitchell Ross Marsh is an Australian cricket player born on October 20, 1991. He has represented Australia in all three formats of the game – T20, ODI, and Test cricket. He made his cricket debut during the 2011-12 season.

Marsh made his Warriors debut in a Ford Ranger Cup game at Bunbury in February 2009, at the age of 17. He became the youngest player ever to play in an Australian domestic one-day match, as well as Western Australia’s youngest debutant in 70 years.

Mitchell played for Australia’s under-19 team against India. He was the team captain in the 2010 under-19 Cricket World Cup. Under his captaincy, Australia won the tournament. Marsh had a successful tournament scoring 201 runs, including a match-winning 97 in the semi-finale against Sri Lanka.

Marsh was signed by the Deccan Chargers for the 2010 Indian Premier League (IPL) and was purchased by the Pune Warriors in 2011, the team coached by his father Geoff Marsh at the time. Marsh was signed to play for England for Middle County Cricket Club in the year 2020 for the T20 Blast competition, but the move was canceled due to the rescheduling of the competition in the wake of the Covid19 pandemic. He was signed again for the 2021 season but was also canceled as he was called up to play International cricket for Australia.
