Answer: NR Narayan Murthy.

Narayan Murthy is the founder of Infosys. He is currently the chairman and Chief Operation Officer (CEO) of the Indian tech company. Murthy had established Infosys in 1981. 

Murthy is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A). He had stepped down from the Infosys board in 2011. Two years later, in 2013, he was appointed as the acting chairman. 

During intraday trading on Tuesday, the shares of Infosys had hit a record high. The company’s market capitalisation had crossed $100 billion mark. Infosys became the fourth Indian company to have a m-cap higher than $100 billion.

The company was also under the scanner this week for glitches on the income-tax filing portal. Infosys is the technology vendor for India’s income tax portal.  the company has set September 15 as the deadline for the software major to resolve all snags.
