Anand Mahindra to gift newly launched SUV to 6 young Indian cricketers
- Mohammed Siraj, T Natarajan and Navdeep Saini will be getting the SUV
- Thar will also be gifted to Washington Sundar, Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur

Impressed by the six young cricketers who helped team India beat Australia in the recently-concluded Test series, Chairman of Mahindra Group Anand Mahindra announced he will gifting brand new Mahindra Thar to them.
Mahindra took to Twitter on Saturday to announce that he will be gifting the newly launched SUV to Mohammed Siraj, T Natarajan, Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar, Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur from his own account and not at the company’s expense.
“Six young men made their debuts in the recent historic series #INDvAUS (Shardul’s 1 earlier appearance was short-lived due to injury)They’ve made it possible for future generations of youth in India to dream & Explore the Impossible,” Mahindra wrote on Twitter.
“The reason for this gift is to exhort young people to believe in themselves & ‘Take the road less traveled.’ Bravo Mohammed, Shardul, Shubhman,Natarajan,Navdeep & Washington! I now plead with @Mahindra_Auto to get them their THARS on priority,” he added.
Apart from Saini and Natarajan, the other four players will playing the upcoming Test series against England.
