Monsoon uplifts your mood so why not boost your personality too with some of the quirkiest and trendiest jewellery options. Given the times and the million zoom calls, most people want to make sure that they create some sense of normality in the best manner they can, says Aakriti Tapuriah, co-founder of the brand STAC Fine Jewellery.

“We’ve found that getting ready for work even if you’re working from home really helps set a productive tone for the day,” she told Opoyi.

Jewellery designer Roma Narsinghani says that since it’s the beginning of Monsoon, one should opt for minimal jewellery styles to avoid any damages.

“However I also believe that styling yourself in any season shouldn’t stop. Hence one can always amp up their look even during the rainy days after considering a few key points. One should try out the meenakari rings to add a bit of color to gloomy rainy days. A pop of color would compliment an Indo-western look that one may choose,” Narsinghani told Opoyi.

“We always have little doubts about using any metals during the monsoon season to avoid metal corrosion. It’s here when metal and copper jewellery helps tackle this problem. Style your look with a Copper bracelet, kada or a copper chain. Interesting point is that it also helps to boost immunity and its main key factor is that it’s an anti-inflammatory,” she added.

Rashi Sanghvi, the co-founder of STAC Fine Jewellery, recommends that people should stick to wearing solid gold jewellery to avoid any tarnishing.

“Gold is considered a neutral metal and does not need a lot of attention and hence much easier to maintain during this season. In terms of stones, diamonds really are everyone’s all-weather best friends! Wearing gold and diamond jewellery is the perfect option for those worried about exposure to the rain,” she said.
