Barcelona legend and captain Lionel Messi was conferred with a signed jersey to honour the player’s 768th appearance for the Catalan Giants.
Messi’s appearance against Real Sociedad last month surpassed club legend Xavi’s record of most appearances for Barcelona.
The player’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo and three sons helped the club in commemorating the football legend with a football jersey signed by his fellow captains Sergio Busquets, Sergio Roberto, and Gerard Pique.

FC Barcelona took to Twitter to express their gratitude for the 33-year-old player. They captioned it, “Proud of you, daddy!”
His kids and wife are seen posing for a picture with him.
Messi was honoured at Camp Nou. He later posed with the entire football team after receiving the signed jersey.
