A terrifying video is going viral all over the internet where a US-based journalist was reporting about extreme weather on live TV, when a part of the bridge she was standing on collapsed.
Amber Roberts, who works for Fox 46 Charlotte, was reporting about heavy flooding while standing near the Hiddenite Bridge in Alexander County, North Carolina.
In the middle of the video, a chunk of the bridge collapsed and was swept away by floodwaters, sending Roberts and her cameraperson running for their lives.
In the video, she can be heard saying, ““It’s splitting. This is incredible.” Despite the shock, she and her cameraperson continued shooting as Robert said, “Okay, we’re backing up. Just right here live on TV we saw the road collapse, the same road that we were just standing on seconds ago.”
Both Roberts and the rest of the crew are safe and have been getting huge applauds on the internet for their fearlessness and commitment.
