Shaheen Shah Afridi, Pakistan’s talisman pacer had to leave the final with an injury, as England beat Pakistan by five wickets to win the T20 World Cup 2022. He got injured in the match, trying to complete a catch of Harry Brook.

Shadab Khan bowled a flighted delivery outside of off stump. Brook went for the hit, but it went straight to long-off. Afridi ran in to complete the catch. In the end, it was a blessing in disguise for the English cricket team, as he hurt his right knee in the process and had to leave the field.
