‘Don’t dance’: Chef Gordon Ramsay learns to grate coconut with feet in India

Hardly do we English chef Gordon Ramsey fazed when it comes to cooking. One of the top chefs in the culinary world, Ramsey often travels around the world, looking and finding new ingredients and learning about the local cuisines. In his latest endeavour, Ramsey, who is in India, learned how to grate a coconut with feet.

In a promo video tweeted by National Geographic, Ramsey ‘discovers the art of tempering spicy flavours’. He is currently shooting for his culinary show Uncharted.

Ramsay, whose restaurants have been awarded 16 Michelin stars in total and currently hold a total of seven, recently faced criticism for an over-priced Wagyu burger that will be sold in his new restaurant, opening December 4.

According to reports, the burgers do not include fries; it has to ordered separately. The dish includes a beef patty, seared Wagyu sirloin, truffle Pecorino cheese, mayonnaise and fresh black truffle.

However, Ramsay, a Michelin-starred chef, responded to the criticism, replying: “I promise you will never have tasted anything quite as delicious as the amazing burgers at Gordon Ramsay Burger.”
